Description

X-Universe covers off on the non-mutant characters during the Age of Apocalypse. I found the two issue mini a bit hard to follow at times with the scenes/locals chopping and changing every other page. The art throughout by Carlos Pacheco and here on this page by Terry Dodson was very cool though. It was also fun to see the AoA spin on Marvel�s other heroes.

As the thousands reach for the sky, Tony Stark tries to ensure their survival by hacking into Mikhail Rasputin's Security System. The grey monster named The Thing (aka Dr Bruce Banner, the Hulk) attempts to stop Stark but is distracted when Gwen Stacy shoots a blast directly into his back.

Fascinating premise trying to get more out of the story. They narrowed down the fan base for this as you had to have read AOA first even for those who weren't fans of the X-Men to get interested. I do like the sci-fi nature and the big Hulk grin by Dodson and Riggs.
