Description

Ed Cartier is best known for his sci-fi and fantasy illos especially in the pulps and digests (he also illustrated the Shadow) . This pulpy illo was done in 1943 for the King features serialized daily mystery in this case Brett Halliday's Mike Shayne The Case of the Missing 12 Days which later was published as Calling Michael Shayne
