Page 2 of a NEVER FINISHED Wrightson story, 'To Slay An Ogre', intended for Al Russell's 1968 fanzine Prism #1, advertised but NEVER PUBLISHED. (presumably that's why Wrightson stopped work on it)
appx 18x12"
I also have the other four extant pages up.


An alternate spash page combining panels from pages 2 and 3 was published in A Look Back [see 2nd photo]

Stunning crosshatching sharpness for the backgrounds and then also lush brushwork fo the figures.  A sensational Wrightson fantasy splash.

How cool is this!?  Early Wrightson and undiscovered Wrightson is always so interesting to see.  I wonder why it wasn't published.  Thank you for posting.
