I’ve been an admirer from afar of Peach Momoko for quite some time.. unfortunately I have been undermined by my love of one cover in particular that she won’t sell lol . Because of this I have passed on quite a few others that I just felt didn’t stack up to the one! I’ve asked a few times and she keeps saying it isn’t for sale… fast forward to a month or so ago and my friend ML was on the Dueling Dealers of Comic Art!! And he pops this Momoko “warm up sketch” and I’m like holy crap.. I love this! I quickly Claim ML! Happy to add something by peach I keep wondering what drew this to me after passing on so many others.. when I get it in the mail and have a chance to stare at it.. it dawns on me .. I think this has to be a warm up sketch for the cover I can’t get! (Image in additional images) let me know in the comments if you think I’m right or just extra crazy! Lol

The imagination exhibited here is incredible. The layering of butterfly and bird wings adds to the wierdness if the piece. Seeing Peach's pencils is a real treat and makes this more special.

I love this piece! I am always a fan of eyeball art. I love that Peach tackles it every once in a while because she does such a great job of it. Congrats!

You can be crazy and right at the same time, right?! Or am I just crazy?! Maybe one more than the other, but not mutually exclusive, I'd say :) In any case, definitely speaks to her unique sensibilities when it comes to imagery and style. Very nice, J, congrats!
