Matt Wagner's Mage Hero Denied interior page

I really enjoy the Mage series and remember it launching so many years ago while I was in college. The comic book store is called Time Warp and it is still in the city to this day. Those were some of the best days, meeting Dave Sims, the Pini's, and several other artists that came through.

This series came long after that, but it continued to have the "MAGIC". When I saw this page for sale, I had to purchase it as a companion piece to the cover to issue 11 of Mage: The Hero Denied.

This page, Issue 11. has close ups, pull aways, and the great forest backgrounds. Kevin Matchstick and his daughter. The stark black and whites are a nice touch.
