Description

I remember when Groo first came out in Spain in 1982... It was called Groonan in Spanish, using that name to make it similar to Conan, and I loved how hilarious it was reading it when I was just 7 years old! Sergio Aragones is such a treasure in the industry, such a nice and friendly guy. So when I saw that 4C Comics was having a sketch show (alongside Stan Sakai and Scott Shaw), I knew it was my chance to get a sketch (ok, I got greedy and got 2). So here was my first request, just a classic Groo and Rufferto. Watching Sergio draw is so amazing and hearing him talk about what he's drawing is even better!

With Sergio not attending conventions, these pieces are very sought after and people won't be able to take his comedic art lightly and for granted. His absence only made our appreciation of him even fonder. When people actually stop and think about it, it is well deserved that he is a bonafide legend.
