So, I believe that Marat Mychaels does small runs of some great spoof covers and sells them at various conventions. Anyway, here's the original art for one of them - spoofing the Fantastic Four #390 Coming of Galactus cover. Stan Lee as the Watcher and various Pooh characters as the Avengers really.. not the F4, Pooh as Deadpool and others around the image. I guess there are people that art "anti" Do You Pooh (interior of them all the same, I guess), but I love this original art as the spoof is great and the art is also wonderful. So, for those that dislike them , so be it. I can enjoy it, though. I guess there are over 100 covers he has done for these, and this one is up there as one of my favorites. I love the Pokemon card one also.

I guess I will get in to something I notice since the internet has exploded over the last.. 25 years. I was on BBS Systems back in the 80's and various websites in the beginning of the WWW being available for people. Anyway, it because more normal in the late 90's to early 2000's - and then maybe in the 2010's everyone needed to be on the internet. Over that time trols increased (which is not this or that - sometimes amusing if people take the bait - usually just annoying), and then there are just complainers. The internet has brought to the forefront the ugliness of people hating everything. My kids tell me about things they hate - not because they have any first hand knowledge of what they are talking about but most likely because some random internet video is out there telling why someone hates things. My sons friend last weekend told me that he "Hates Marvel". I asked him why and he said something about the films and what has come out in the last couple of years. I personally pretty much love every comic book movie no matter how bad it might be, because I dreamed as a kid about these things being in a film. If it doesn't follow the comics, so beit - I get that you might need to have a short script and somehow get the characters on screen that wouldn't follow something else.. so I, for instance, enjoyed Madame Web by just having a fun film. I wish it did better as I'd love for the Spider Woman characters to go further, but it is doubtful. It was kinda cheesy, but it was a cool one off film. The internet has allowed people to have BIG opinions that are much of the time very negative. I just come from the opinion of - if you don't like it why waste your time putting out media about that. I guess people enjoy hating things more than liking things. So, with all of that - for everyone that hates Do You Pooh? so be it, but I really like this cover - and others - and I am happy to own this piece! Did I just complain about complaining? Oh my..
