DescriptionDC First Batgirl/Joker (2002). Art and inks by Bill Sienkiewicz.Batgirl (Cassandra Cain) breaks Joker out of Arkham to recapture him and prove herself worthy of the cowl. Bucket list item for me. Wanted a Sienkiewicz piece and am absolutely stoked to get my hands on this one. Mr Sienkiewicz truly puts the art in comic art. Love the abstract feeling to this piece. Lines, detail, shading...just an incredible piece of artistry, in my opinion. Great images of Batgirl, Black Canary, Oracle, Joker and Batty himself. Published page also attached and I can't help but feel how much the coloring detracts from the original pencils and ink, in my opinion. Finally, another huge shout out to Jordan J for letting this one go. I know this one had to hurt a little. Thanks again, bud!! Social/Sharing |

The wildest Sienkiewicz Batman out there with the same kind of aggressive look you'd see in his Batman covers in that last panel. It looks like the page was assaulted with the full force of emotions and imagaintion!
