DescriptionGoing into the inaugural OAX one of the pre show offers was for a meet and greet and sketch by Adam Kubert. Adam is one of my favorite artists and the opportunity to not only get a sketch but also spend some time with him was very appealing. The one dig was that the sketches were rather small - if you look at this sketch they were only guaranteed to be the size of the inner box… but having seen some examples of this sketch level before I also knew he sometimes goes outside of that box and can be generous with the sketch if it’s the right character . I knew I wanted an X-character but immediately decided no Wolverine.. not only do I already have some examples of Adam’s Wolverine.. I figured he does them all the time and less chance of a more “enhanced “ sketch. So I was mulling this and chatting with The CEO Kasra … and Magik came up .. and I thought Bingo! Broadsword Magik .. so much he could have fun with and definitely someone he probably isn’t asked to do often. I was absolutely blown away when I got this! All I could have imagined and more!Social/Sharing |
