DescriptionAmazing Spider-Man # 800 (May 2018) was full of twists and turns ending with a hand to hand face off between our two main foes. Midway through the issue we saw Venom and Spider-Man trying to take down the Red Goblin (Green Goblin bonded with the Carnage symbiote). They realize they can't take him down so (SPOILER ALERT) Brock temporarily lends Parker the Venom symbiote to give him the extra strength to take down the Red Goblin, which resulted in this super cool new costume design by Ed McGuinness!Ed McGuinness created this design specifically for ASM 800 and it was super cool to see several different artist draw the costume throughout the oversized book. I love all the little design elements brought to bring us something fresh but familiar from the updated lenses, the spidey/venom symbol, diamonds on the hands, and the subtle claw and webbing elements. It was also exciting to see Marvel create an action figure based on this design. Big thanks to my good friend K Gearon for allowing me to add this piece to my design/concept art collection! Electric design to the symbol! I think Peter also gained a layer of muscle with the Venom coarsing through the viens!

A great looking piece for sure. Surprisingly, the part I'm most intigued by is the scary solo arm!
