Description
Here is a splash page to an Unknown/Unpublished? issue of All Star Comics featuring the Justice Society Of America. Art is by Joe Staton with Bob Layton inks (unknown who coloring is by). Art is drawn on old stock DC art board (board says National Periodical Publication on back of page). Art measure 11 1/2” x 16 1/2” with image area of 10” x 13 1/4”. Art is graphite, pen, ink, watercolor, and colored markers. If anyone can identify what issue this art is from I would appreciate it if you could pass it on so I can add to my description. This was originally intended as the splash page to All-Star Comics #70 - see here: http://comicartads.com/content/original-art-gallery-mitch-itkowitz-1978 and then click on the "inside front cover" link for full details - and I believe was then later revamped for use as the cover of Amazing Heroes #3.
