Description

Beautiful original final pencil illustration of a publicity drawing for the animated short film "Don Donald" (released January 1937), the first installment of the Donald Duck series, also being the first to feature Donald as the primary starring character. This was also the first time that a love interest was introduced for Donald, though it's not entirely clear whether Donna simply represents an earlier version of Daisy Duck or is a separate character entirely.

Does anyone know where this might have been published? Happy for any help...
