2nd silver age Spectre! Super rare page with plenty of Spectre in battle against the horde of demons! Pure Murphy Anderson that had the silver age's most feathery touch!
I like the density of detail which dictates that nearly every panel gets filled almost to the panel borders, but this is nicely balanced by the second and fourth frames which let some air in with the deftly balancing white spaces. Spec battling that horde of demons in panel five is spectacular (or should that be "spook-tacular"?). I just love this classic Silver Age page.
Nothing quite punches the nostalgia button like Murphy drawing the DC Golden Age heroes. Great page!
