Originale di copertina per il n. 13 della collana edita da Ugo Del Buono editore nel 1966. Matita, china e retino su cartoncino con collage; cm 31x25. Ottimo stato.

Victor Hugo Arias - 1928, Argentina

Nato a Rio Quarto, Victor Hugo Arias pubblic� la sua prima striscia all'inizio degli anni '50 su Panch Negro: 'Polo Aster', di cui scrisse anche la sceneggiatura. Ha lavorato su Rayo Rojo, Hora Cero, Frontera e Misterix e si � specializzato in strisce d'avventura. Dai primi anni Sessanta fino alla met� degli anni Settanta collabora a numerosi progetti per diversi editori europei, in particolare per Fleetway e DCThompson nel Regno Unito. In Italia ha collaborato con il Corriere dei Piccoli e in Spagna con l'editore Turai di Barcellona. Divenne direttore artistico della grande casa editrice britannica DCThompson nel 1967. Ritorn� in Argentina nel 1974, dove entr� alla Ediciones Record. L� cre� diverse serie di avventure come "I Cavaliera del Mare" e "Tanganika" (1979), pubblicate su Skorpio.

Sadik � un personaggio dei fumetti neri creato nel 1965 da Nino Cannata nato sulla scia del successo di Diabolik e protagonista di tre serie pubblicate fra il 1965 e il 1967 edite in formato tascabile. Esord� vendendo centomila copie in pochi giorni, ma l'editore ne sospese la pubblicazione dopo soli due numeri, preoccupato dei numerosi sequestri di allora per quel tipo di pubblicazioni. Il personaggio dopo qualche mese venne rilevato da altri editori, che ne modificarono le caratteristiche.

This rides the wave of excitement for spy thriller and adventure comics popular around the world during the cold war 60's. Having a buxom femme fatale was almost a requirement!

You are right it is true, in the 1960s, spy, adventure and crime comics were always filled with beautiful women and femme fatales, who always followed the fashion style of the time as in this cover. Sadik also follows the style of genre comics of the time all with a K, such as Kriminal, Satanik, Diabolik, etc.
