Simone Bianchi Thor: For Asgard #2 Splash Page 4 Preliminary Original Art (Marvel, 2010). A full shot of the God of Thunder reacting to the realization that he did not stop an arrow from striking Balder. Beautiful linework from Bianchi in this preliminary drawing created in graphite and some ink on 11" x 16.5" Bristol board. Light smudging/handling wear and signed by Bianchi at the bottom.

Such style and class! This looks like old Italian masters' pencil sketches before going to paint showing every muscle and sinew strained in expressive posing!
