Description

First draft of the Batman: A Visual History triple cover drawn sometime in 2012-2013 by Jason Fabok. On three 11X17 pages. Signed by Jason.

There are changes between this and the final which were made digitally. So this is the only OA of the cover. It was the first time Jason had drawn Joker.

Triple gatefold cover and every section has more than enough to satisfy even the stingiest Batman connoisseur! Timeless book that could go into every collector's bookshelf!

The original pencil OA is far superior to the finished. The colors detract and the digital changes didn't do justice to the original concept.

I think your piece is way stronger than what was published. Congratulations

The book was published by DK books, not DC. I suspect that the reason why some of the images had to be changed was due to copyright issues.
