Description

Lady Druj, a powerful member of the Dark Team, pulls Georges Morin to his bed with her prehensile hair:

“…So I came to see you!” (Whooosh of her hair)

Kurjak and Tesla look for evil under the stage, unaware that disaster is actually striking in the living quarters upstairs:

“I would like to be very sure what we are looking for…”

“It seems that Savnok's favorite look is that of a rotting warrior in rusty medieval armor.”

“Yummy!”

“But he can take on even worse appearances. So, if you see something strange…”

“I don't see, but I smell! What is this intolerable stench?”

“It could be him. It comes from inside here…”

Pages 55 mostly speaks for itself as Tesla opens a door and is grabbed by a giant hand: “What the…? Aaah!”

(Kurjak shoots at the hand that grabbed her.) “Teslaaaa!”

(A giant ephemeral snake attacks the hand, which drops her.) “Nnnnggghhhh!”

A great work displaying a creepy haunted house!  Lots of patterns and textures as even the shadows have a bite to them.  The panel opening fire dominates even with all the monster shots on the page!

Nice spatter effects for the spectral 'serpent' (or is that another form of the Medusa?). Great, moody images.

To quote the words of the famous pro wrestling announcer Jim Ross (JR)..."business just picked up!"

I didn't have Lady Druj being Medusa on my Dampyr bingo card! And that phantom snake monster/creature grabbing Tesla might be the scariest thing so far!
