Elaborately designed cages for the money, the girl, and the heart!
A tiny part of me wishes that top panel was a full page splash, but this entire page (from arguably Tim's best work) is stunning. Again, that top panel just screams to be framed and displayed. Wow!
You're 100% right. When you see the art in person, that feeling mostly goes away, but no doubt that top panel would make a great standalone image, such as a poster.
