Batgirl Year One follows the tradition of looking into the past of one of the batfamily members and how they become who they were destined to be. The art from the duo Marcos Martin and Alvaro Lopez is in full display in the book and bring to life this awesome story of the rise of Batgirl. I've been wanting to get a page from this book for a while so I am so happy I was able to finally pick one up and its a beautiful page of Batgirl swinging through Gotham.

Beautiful choice! Love the close-ups on the boots, the line, and the batarang. Contrasts really nicely with the zoomed-out city scene.

Hard to find and treasured Batgirl piece from this series! Martin's simplicity in the storytelling is part of the charm as he distills the essence of the character onto the page.
