May has been a busy month. Birthday's, Mother's day, Memorial day, every weekend it's been something. It's been non-stop. Have to make time for posting art. Let's get back to it...

The second to last Jonah Hex commission I have. This one is a bit different though, I didn't commission this one. All the Hex commissions I have I have commissioned myself except 5 of them. The two Tim Truman's, the DeZuniga, the Ken Barr and the Cameron Stewart, they were the first Jonah Hex's I ever bought. Since then it's only been artists I've commissioned.

Then along came...this bad boy. Breyfogle and Jonah Hex! It was meant for me. I'm a big fan of Breyfogle and I had always wanted a Breyfogle commission. Loved his art (who didn't!!) but never had the opportunity to get a commission from him. Then tragedy struck, Norm had a stroke then an even greater tragedy Norm passed away. This sketch showed up on eBay sometime after his stroke. I knew it was mine. No way was I going to let this one go to someone else. Lol. It has that signature Breyfogle style and energy.

To whomever thought of this brilliant pairing & for letting it go, you have my eternal thanks.

As only Norm could do...

Hex and Breyfogle? What a cool (and rare!) combo. When Ceasar wants Hex art, NOBODY stops him. Let that be a warning to all of you varmints!

The fading purplish marker seems to work very well in this as Breyfogle kept it mostly for the backgrounds and kept the central figure looking precise and sharp.
