If you ever want to know why was Dream so weak as to get caught by some paltry hedge magics then Sandman Overture is the prequel you need to read! It was gorgeously illustrated by JH Williams and many thanks to Migs for passing this huge bad boy to me. It is literally a few pages before Morpheus gets trapped and this quad page spread is only spreading joy when I see it framed in all its glory.

Absolutely stunning Sandman DPS by J.H.Williams III. ! I love this piece with the juxtaposition of a bright, beautifully painted background and the black and white panels on top. Is this how it was used or did the editors have the B&W panels colored before printing? Myself, I'd prefer it if they printed it as is. The stark juxtaposition is very striking! Phenomenal pick-up, congrats!
