Description

Original painting by Rowena (1944-2021), created for the cover illustration of Book 1 of "The Secret of the Unicorn Queen" by Josepha Sherman published by Ballantine Books 1988. Handpainted in oil on gessoed illustration board, image 27.5" x 19" custom framed to 30.5" x 22" and signed by the artist bottom right.

Rowena is right on target for the demographic who are preteen girls who are adventurous, imaginative, and inquisitive about the world.
