DescriptionSuch a great page and part of the classic Inferno Storyline. Alan Davis did two Inferno issues in the classic crossover event with Chris Claremont. Here you get Rachel being called to New York to help her "brother" and we get to Alan take on the Goblin Queen not to mention Rachel in full Phoenix mode and then gets swallowed up by a Demon Building. Also let me say this as much of an Alan Davis fan I am I think he is at his best when he is inked by Paul Neary.Social/Sharing |

Outstanding! The first 7 issues of Excalibur are burned into my brain, and this issue might be at the top of the list. Pages like this are why. Huge congrats!

That first panel is fantastic, both for the rendering of the Goblin Queen as well as all the shadow work, which is a huge contrast to the last panel with all its very fine lines. Congrats!

Really cool that it's early in the run too to establish a connection in the book's continuity and importance to the rest of the X-Men universe! Primo images of the Goblin Queen!

Excellent page--Claremont was so good and going back and forth between fun/whimsical and dark/creepy. Fanastic interaction here between Rachel and Madelyne, and completely gorgeous art by Davis and Neary (Neary's juicy inks are literally perfect on this page). Congrats!
