Description
The "Probe Droid" Empire Strikes Back 40th Anniversary cover. You see this and instantly know what it is. The Empire finds the rebel base on Hoth to open up the Empire Strikes Back.

When I first saw these covers coming out, I knew I wanted to try to pick up a number of them.

Thank you to Chris and Karl for doing such great work on these series of images and for being so great to work with!

Classic probe droid image!  Done with an exactness like a technical drawing.  Anyone who bought the Hoth playset had this guy included and could remember those tentacle like limbs!

“Scanner to system: I can see the Rebel base. I am facing them now. Their defenses are very impressive. I am not clear to commence, sir.” --Imperial Probe Droid sounds

Stay frosty probe droid, this cover's a winner.
