The kind of style popularized by featuring Jazz bands, now used for a classic punk band! A little surreal, but on the mark. Especially with the self inflicted pain!

Massimo Giacon has a unique style and is one of my favourite artists, not only for comics, he's a product designer and a musician, too. I got this commission for my 50th birthday since I'm a Clash collector and I needed something "special" ;).
The self inflicted pain is a "citation" from the first italian concert of the band, where Giacon was in the audience, when Mick Jones, the guitarist, accidentaly hit his face with the guitar and fainted on stage...
