Done in mixed media, this piece recreates the cover to Master Comics #21 (Dec. 1941) and features original art by renowned comic book artist Murphy Anderson (1926-2016), known as one of the premier inkers of his era, who worked for companies such as DC Comics for over 50 years, starting in the Golden Age during the 1940s. He worked on characters such as Hawkman, Batgirl, Zatanna, The Spectre and Superman, as well as on the Buck Rogers comic strip. Anderson has signed at lower left, noting "After Mac Raboy," the original artist who provided the cover art for the finished comic. Great cover features Captain Marvel and Bulletman glaring at "World Enemy No. 1" Captain Nazi, who was introduced in issue #21. Includes COA signed by artist and dated 2005. Exc.
