On such a day as today 50 years ago was released Hulk Vol. 1 #180 (July the 2nd 1974).
On that issue the fandom saw for the first time Wolverine!

That means today is Logan anniversary.

Nice way to ring in Wolvie's b-day! Great colors, and love how the only black that's used is on the "X" on the belt and the shading of the mask. "Happy birthday, bub." Congrats, Toni!

Great piece that shows off the costume design very well. It also has killer straight claws and straight line red "X" background with pointy ends. Wolvie is definitely in front of the "X" and very much alive!

What a fantastic Wolverine commmission by Jordi Tarragona! I love this version of Wolvie in his blue and yellow X-Men uniform! I love the way he's holding up both fists, claws out. That left hand claw seems to be right in our face.I can hear Wolvie saying, "You got a problem with that, bub?" The mild smirk, the cigar in his mouth, it all speaks to a certain feistiness that Logan is known for. I like the big red X in the background although, if I'm honest, I'm not crazy about the body disappearing at the waist. Still, overall, it's one of the best Wolverine commissions I've seen. Congrats!

Great commission! Pose is cool! I like the nuances of color for shadows on the anatomy and belt. Love how Tarragona delicately add spotted, lighter shading to the belt. Figure work is wonderful. Pose is also great! He even has the cigar lit! I'm curious about the media he used.
