Art is by renowned Hong Kong manhua (Chinese comic) artist Ma Wing-shing. Art features seven panels and shows dynamic, action-packed martial arts battle on a frozen lake. A monumental title for the medium, the artwork and drawing style of Chinese Hero was highly influential in defining the modern characteristics of manhua, known for its high level of detail, realistic style, clear-cut action scenes and engaging plot. The series is highly regarded among Chinese collectors as one of the most important Chinese comic titles of the 1980s.
