Description
This incredible original layout from Cut-0133 of Akira (1988) was drawn by Hitoshi Ueda. Mr. Ueda was chiefly responsible for the early bike chases in the film and is well known for directing Cardcaptor Sakura, The Movie, key animation for Ninja Scroll, Golden Boy, Mobile Suit Gundam F91, Attack on Titan The Final Season (TV), and artwork for many other classic anime productions.

This scene occurs near the beginning of the film when Tetsuo is chasing one of the Clown bikers into a back alley.

Nice up close framing!  There is dramatic tension boiling over with that tight grip and gritted teeth.
