Description

The heroes have dressed corpses in their clothes and then driven their Jeep into a ravine as a decoy. The bad guys are falling for it. Their helicopter can't descend the ravine, so they are forced into a time-consuming hike to check the bodies.

“We've been walking for a while, Lope. Are you sure you didn't go the wrong way?”

“Well, from the helicopter it seemed closer. Anyway, this is the track. Once past this curve, we should be there!”

“Over there, boss! The Jeep! Look!”

“Nice flight!”

“Yeah. Pass me the binoculars, Martin.”

“Yes, I see there are two bodies.”

“Do you recognize them?”

“Wait, one looks just like Uriaga.”

Each of the ruffians has a recognizable face, even the ones who don't get any dialogue.

They should have bashed their faces in before sending them down the cliff.  Did they really need 10 guys to climb up together?  Seems like they are set up like 10 bowling pins ready for a boulder to fall from above.

The heroes did indeed disfigure the corpses' faces before dumping the Jeep in the ravine, with the corpses sitting in it. I agree that it may not have been smart for so many of the villains to climb down into the ravine to check the bodies. Perhaps they intended to take turns carrying them back up to the helicopter if it was indeed the bodies they hoped for.
