In the story's finale, Mister No gets his airplane fixed and chats with his trusty mechanic:
“How is it doing, Honorio?”
“It's ready, Mister No. You can leave right away if you want.”
“Good. Then I'll take the flight plan to the control tower, after paying your bill, of course."
"Anyway, you're loco, gringo. But do you want to tell me who the devil the client was? What convinced you to risk your skin and the Piper at the top of the Andes?”
“Professional secret. You know it too: The richer they are, the crazier they are. But they don't want anyone to know about it.”
This is the last page of the story that I own. The dialogue on the final two pages is:
“Here you go, gringo.”
(On the radio) “The police raids continue, which in recent weeks have led to the arrest of numerous members of organized crime in Bogota and throughout the country. The prosecutor has declared that this is the culmination of long and thorough investigations...”
(Mister No thinks) “If Uriaga hadn't decided to spill the beans, the 'long and thorough investigations' would not have gotten anywhere.”
“What are you laughing at, Mister No?”
“Nothing, I was just thinking about personal things...”
“Ha ha! I bet these 'things' are young and cute.”
“Mmmm... And what if I told you that the person in question is old and has a thick white beard?”
(Mister No talks to his airplane) “Let's see if Honorio has really reconditioned you... Yes, I'd say you're flying better than usual. MN-Z to the tower. Request permission to take off.”
“Permission granted. Runway four is clear. Safe travels, Mister No.”
“Goodbye, boys. Let's go home, old thing.”
Note that Mister No once again wears a leather jacket with a four leafed clover on the right shoulder. His damaged Piper Cub plane came back from the Andes to civilization somehow, so it's not out of the question that he took the time to retrieve his jacket from the ravine also.
