Description

Dietwald Doblies (born May 17, 1962 in Barsbüttel; died May 3, 2021 in Hamburg) was a German illustrator. Since 1995 he has drawn the Lurchi magazines for the shoe manufacturer Salamander.
I am delighted to own this beautiful cover picture. In the attached photos you can see it on the wall of the artist who sadly died far too young.

Flippin' awesome! A very delightful return to the days when the animal comics ruled the industry. The anthropomorphism by Doblies was done to bring smiles and happiness.
