Description
The Lion King has been for a long long time one of my favorite Disney movies, and one to this day I continue to watch on a regular basis. When I saw this cover, I fell in love with it. I thought it really captured Scar, the hyenas and Rafiki really well, in a way that was really reminiscent of the movie. I think Jae Lee's inks in this one do a really great job providing texture and rendering the fur on all the characters, while the background depicts a somewhat dark and chaotic place. Definitely a fun cover with a lot of nostalgia!

With a Mufasa movie on the way, Dynamite is bringing some WINNers this year!  Jae Lee covers continue to astound with elegant inks done with flowing waves of personality!

Scar looks greatttttt!!! I love The Lion King, this is awesome man!

Hoping Hembeck does some Lion King related sketch cards soon so I can add to my Disney animated movie set :)
