I first learned of Alex's work when he did the first Hellfire Gala issue of New Mutants, which featured one of Warlock's first visible appearances of the Krakoan Era, of which I snagged several pages from him.

When he was listed as attending NYCC 2023, it was a no-brainer to ask him to contribute his version of Warlock to a newly started New Mutants sketchbook. It couldn't have turned out better, delivering exactly what I hoped for.

Alex has had a variety of series out since that issue of New Mutants, such as Hellcat, Monarch, and Briar with upcoming work on Namor & Plastic-Man. Add to that, he's a super nice dude.

Definitely check out his work.
