Description

A piece from Look and Learn (24FEB79) by Italian artist Severino Baraldi.

St George and the Dragon. St George is the patron saint of England, even though he never came near the country. He performed his daring deeds, including the famous slaying of a dragon, in North Africa and the Middle East. Crusaders in the Holy Land brought this legend back with him.
