Description

This is the penciled prelim to page 14 from Marvel Feature #6 featuring Red Sonja in every panel. She is fighting a creature who is part man but with the head of an alligator who holds her suspended over a pit by her hair and is slowly pulling her up to devour her. Three large vertical panels - all Red Sonja! It was drawn by Frank THORNE on approximately 7 x 10 inch heavy art paper and is in great condition. The published version can be seen in Additional Images. They are very similar, but Thorne did make some changes in the layout. As is often the case, I prefer the prelim to the published version.

The buyer will receive a photocopy of the plot by Roy Thomas, so you can compare the plot to the pencils to the published version. (The comic book is not included.) This was Thorne at his best.
