DescriptionGeneration X was the 90’s take on Xavier’s School, or rather Banshee and the White Queen’s School for teenage mutants. Akin to that of the New Mutants from a decade beforeCreators Scott Lobdell and Chris Bachalo did some awesome work together on the book for close to 30 issues. They created fun engaging characters with cool visual powers, some of whom are still kicking it as main characters in the current X-Teams. Funnily enough, I’m pretty sure the first Marvel movie I ever saw was Generation X on VHS all those years ago, thanks to this book. Certainly some beautiful colors by Steve Buccellato on these pages too. Buccellato credits the work he put into Generation X #1 as his pride and joy. Social/Sharing |
