Stan Drake - Eve Jones from “The Heart of Juliet Jones“

Drake's good girl art had a profound influence on comics and comic books demonstrating the finer points of drawing women.  A lovely sketch of his most notable character!

I met Stan Drake at an art class given by Dick Giordano and Frank McLaughlin, even they were in awe of Stan's talent. I like the way Stan uses the same flowing line to create Eve's hair, the bacground, and even the delicate framing, probably one quickly done sketch after years and thousands of drawings.
