DescriptionOriginal artwork for Detective Comics #559 (DC, 1986), page 13 by Gene "the Dean" Colan (pencils) and Bob Smith (inks). Terrific action-packed battle page from the story, "It Takes Two Wings to Fly," featuring Batman, Green Arrow and the beautiful Black Canary. A gun wielding thug tries to shot them in the back, but Batman detects the ambush and Black Canary takes out the criminal with a unexpected back flip and a swinging kick. Superb one-third splash panel is the money shot.Social/Sharing |
