Wow! What a cool Todd McFarlane Spider-Man page. Sometimes I forget just how fresh and revolutionary Todd's work on Spider-Man was in the day and then I see a page like this and go..."Oh yeah, THAT'S why we all lost our minds over Todd's work!" Check out how cool this page is. I'm fascinated by the first two panels that are so impossibly tall and skinny that you almost can't tell what he's drawing! Then there's this third panel that's almost a splash of Spidey clinging to a wall drawn at an impossibly odd angle. And Todd doesn't even bother to finish the drawing of SM, he just leaves details of the costume off. Who does stuff like that? It's crazy--But it works! Fabulous pick-up, sincere congrats!
