I'm a longtime Turtles fan and I have to admit that the 2011 IDW series might be my favorite incarnation. Is that sacrilege? I don't know. Maybe. Either way, I don't care. I love this series, and issue #21 was one of only a handful of issue for which original co-creator Kevin Eastman provided the art. This splash page was also used as a Dynamic Forces variant cover for this issue. I've been looking for an Eastman piece featuring all four turtles, so I'm really excited to have this one.

Sweet pick up of splash and cover! Eastman art takes on more Corben influence at this stage. Without use of the duo tones, he uses more hand drawn details for depth and textures.
