Description

Preliminary sketch 3 - Graphite and red pencil on bristol paper.

This was the final image that was scanned, enlarged and printed onto watercolor paper (to be painted and colored with colored pencils).

This final sketch depicts the duality of Elektra. To convey this, emerging from within her new "woman without fear" costume is the classic Elektra with her iconic red bandana. One hand wields the traditional sai with the other holding her modern billy club baton sai.
