Geary's unique illustration style brings a variety of fantasy, historical, or even hard boiled crime genres to life. I don't think there is anyone else who can draw like this consistently. He establishes setting and situation so well. It might even seem too rustic for magazine like Heavy Metal. This might be an exception because they trusted the Rick Geary vision.
