Longshot may have been the protagonist, but the odd couple of Spiral and Mojo (slim and aloof vs bulbous and manic) are Adams' signature creations as far as I'm concerned. Her brief but striking appearance in this issue left us wanting more, and thankfully more was on the way.
From the very beginning, Art Adams was an amazing artist and storyteller. And what a historic page! This one definitely fits in your awesome collection.

WOW. The word "special" falls short. As does "unique" and "exciting". We probably should be looking more at something along the lines of "game-changing", "historic", and/or "legendary". First interior work by Arthur Adams, introducing both a popular X-Man -and- X-Villain? A lot of boxes checked here, James, any -one- of which would be dizzying, but when thrown together in a perfect storm of mutant awesomeness, result in a spectacular CAF addition.
