Another pick-up from the Roger Hill collection, Hannes Bok and Boris Dolgov (collectively as "Dolbokov") Science Fiction Quarterly Summer-1941 Illustration Original Art (Columbia Publications, 1941). This image for the story "Earth Does Not Reply" by John Michel and Donald Wollheim was created by Bok and Dolgov (as Dolbokov). Created in ink and Conte crayon on Bristol board with an image area of 7.5" x 9.5". Signed in the image area as "Dolbokov".

Such imagination! The alien is mimicing the pose of the human as best that it can! You even see a smile being reciprocated.
