Description

Acquired this from Dave Johnson at Baltimore Comic-Con 2024. This was the first attempt at his variant cover for Alien #2, rejected by 20th Century because the piping and ridges on the Alien were off. Compare it to the finished piece.

The snow on the page are little globs of white out and the page is pretty inky, so it doesn't lay completely flat, which is actually pretty great.

i really like the rejected version better. maybe its just the inks vs the colors of cover but i think something is lost with the published image. thanks for posting both.
