Wonderful drawing. Love the colors and that linework is so clean.
Have I told you lately that I Grogu?
Have Grogu there's no one framed above you?
Fill my art with gladness, take away Jedi sadness
Ease my troubles, that's from Grogu
For the morning sun in all it's story
Cummings page with hope and comfort too
You fill my Sith with laughter, somehow you make it Star Wars
Ease my troubles, that's all Grogu
There's a love bless Jedi
And its yours Adeline
From Steven
And at the Mando on page
We should give thanks and pray
From Steven, From Steven
No more Jedi Sadness for all!
Thanks Marcus!
A cute and fun illustration and an even more wonderful background story!
Okay I'll admit it. I got weepy reading your touching story about your daughter and her connection to this particular character. But it also put a big smile on my face imagining your daughter's emotional reactions that you described so well. So ... a bit of a roller coaster. All in all, it makes me feel very happy that the combination of generosity and a beautiful piece of art can do such a wondrous thing. Thanks for sharing, Ian!
If that piggy bank were to have an unfortunate fall, there may be another Guardians page in your future. Just sayin.
In all seriousness, I am super suprised it hasn't met it's untimely demise in her room. She got it when she was a baby, so honestly maybe it is time to see if pigs can fly lol.
Although, my guess is that there is a Bazooka Joe print and some bubblegum in my future.
Great art and an even better story, Ian! Love that your daughter LOVES the character, and all things Grogu! Thanks for sharing!
Her Grandma just bought her some Grogu sheets for Christmas and tried to hide them in our house. Bad move lol. Adeline already found them and got them placed on her bed. Better luck next time Grandma!
"Oh, you think you slick, huh?" :)
Ian, what a moving story about your daughters special connection to a special character. Some (heartless sods) may dislike Grogu but clearly your daughter sees what most of us do; and that it has helped her express her imagination is just a wonderful reminder why many of us get into the hobby of collecting things that remind us of a more innocent and imaginative time in our lives. I wish her and your family continued blessings toward her health and happiness.
Such a cute piece and the character's meaning to your daughter and family must be beyond measure/words. Steven is awesome to have done it for her, really good guy
A great piece Ian! Congrats!
The best Grogu art on CAF!
