DescriptionI spent 24 - 27 September 2024 to Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Comic Con Africa 2024. As always I specifically hung around in artists alley, getting sketches, interviewing pro's but also just chatting. Karl Mostert was noodling with this on Friday and saying he didn't like it. The next day while he was still working on it, still unsatisfied with it, I made a throw away joke that if he didn't want it he could give it to me and that's what he did, because that's what kind of guy he was.Karl tragically passed away on Monday in his sleep. I wish he was still here. Rest in peace Karl. Gone way too soon. Social/Sharing |

That's sad to hear and at 43 years old. The guy was definitely talented as this shows the Bat family done with a finer touch in levels of pencil shading.
