Longshot issue #3 was the first appearance of Mojo. He only appeared on two pages so I’m ecstatic to get my hands on one of them. This is definitely the better of the two with a great interaction between Mojo and Longshot. Mojo would go on to become a regular X-villian in the late 80s and early 90s. It’s always interesting to see the evolution of the character from the first appearance, the grin and his expressions definitely become more exaggerated in later appearances.

Congrats on a great Mojo page from his first appearance issue. I have a full figure design drawing that predates this by a year and a half, but at least you have the first published appearance.

Arthur Adams artwork amazes as always! Mojo is such a shocking character design of grotesqueness and Adams' hyper detailed art made it impossible to look away.
