Description
Talk about an amazing page! Trippy, aliens, everyone but Boy from the team is here. And an amazing meta message about how words and knowledge can open up the world to you! Or the lack of knowledge and other people's words can hold you down and oppress you.

Is it a coincidence that this takes place in issue 13, half of 26 and one of the "magic numbers" of the universe?

Robin is reborn, and the team changes through this issue,

I just love everything about this page and couldn't be happier about adding it to the collection!

Phil Jimenez gave you your money's worth every issue for this second series!  The superhero linework in a Vertigo book with psychedelic visions in full detail is hypnotically mesmerizing.  Always cool when mixing in the checkerboard to remind us of silver age DC!

Such beautiful madness. While certainly a delighful example of Phil's work, it's also very much Ultimate Morrison. A fantastic display piece. I find my self envious. To me, this is the Invisibles in one Bristol board.

Man, that's some intricately sublime line work in the splash and mixed with the warp-y design?!  Killer stuff, Peter, congrats!
